Tom Takes a Breather

Whew! That’s a lot of writing. Too much, some might say. We’ve done a little recycling of older material now and again when surprised by life, but by my count that only represents a little over 3% of our output.

I’m going to take a couple of weeks to recharge the batteries and work on a few pieces without an immediate deadline looming. We’ll hope to have new posts for you next Saturday and Sunday (the regular Too Hot to Handle exchange between me and Immanuel Can moves to Saturday instead of Friday for two weeks only).

That’s so we can use our next ten weekdays to count down ...

To be fair, the only thing “Top 10” about these posts is that a fair number of people have read them (or in one bizarre instance, it appears a lot of Russians have clicked on the post and gone away deeply disappointed or confused. Hey, what can you do? It’s the internet). These are, in order, the ten most-viewed posts we’ve written. Are they the best ten? In my view almost surely not, but it’s pretty hard for us to assess such things. A bunch of people flagged them on social media, so evidently they meant something to someone. We’re always grateful to have the opportunity to share.

Happily almost all these posts are more than a few months old as apparently it takes time for some of those scary search engines to work their magic.

Who knows, there may even be one or two you haven’t read.

Many thanks to IC and Bernie for their fine work so far and especially for their fellowship. There are few people more fun to bat around ideas with.

And thanks most of all to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is not only utterly inexhaustible but the only subject in this universe genuinely worth writing about every single day of my life.
